  • Materials Science Recurrent Education Seminar

    Tohoku University boasts one of the largest educational and research environments in Japan for materials-related disciplines and ranks first among Japanese universities in citations for materials science papers. To return these world-class educational assets to society, professors from the Materials Science and Engineering departments at Tohoku University’s Graduate School of Engineering lead the Materials Science Recurrent Education Seminar Designed efficiently to cover a comprehensive range of foundational knowledge in materials science, this serves as a structured curriculum from basics to practical applications, tailored primarily for young corporate engineers and highly utilized by numerous companies nationwide.

  • Tohoku University Data Science College

    Tohoku University Data Science College (TDSC) is dedicated to developing DX (Digital Transformation) professionals who drive business transformation through the effective use of data science and AI.
    Going far beyond the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills, our program provides a hands-on learning environment where participants envision what can be achieved through data science and AI and leverage their own company’s data to bring those visions to life.
    Under the hands-on mentorship of TDSC’s expert instructors, participants tackle real-world challenges facing their organizations.

  • Regional Innovation SchoolRIPS/RIAS

    The Regional Innovation School offers two complementary programs.
    The Regional Innovation Producer School (RIPS) is designed for executives and business owners of regional companies seeking to innovate existing businesses and create new ventures. The program helps participants develop innovative business concepts and transform them into viable business plans.
    The Regional Innovation Advisor School (RIAS) equips professionals from regional financial institutions and business support organizations with the skills to assess business value and growth potential, while strengthening their ability to support business growth.
